Who We Are

Founder and owner of AMORÉ Pet Sitting Services, Tricia Balancio, has been actively pet sitting since the fall of 2006. Tricia  brings not only immediate experience in the field, but a life-long passion for animals.  Starting out at age 3 with her first pet, a black German Shepherd fondly named, Lassie, to her present day Shepherd, Caleb and cats, Ms. Lilly and Lexi.  Her shepherd, Dakota, was the inspiration behind the AMORÉ  logo.   Tricia has never been without animals in her life.  Following in her father's footsteps working with horses, Tricia became a full-time volunteer and later Director and Head Instructor of a therapeutic horseback riding program in San Marcos, CA   During this time, she was a volunteer for the Summer Olympics in Los Angeles.  She helped those with special needs work as flag attendants for the Cross Country Three-Day Equestrian Event.  Because of her love and interest in all kinds of animals and their survival; as well as, her volunteer efforts with the San Diego Zoo and the San Diego Chargers (now known as the Los Angeles Chargers), Tricia found herself making two incredible trips of nature study:  Africa and Australia.  While living in San Diego, Tricia volunteered for German Shepherd Rescue of Orange County.  Now, after moving to Tucson to help care for her elderly parents, Tricia is now involved with  K9 HEROES (organization that helps to support local law enforcement K9s). 

 

  Tricia is dedicated to keeping current with the latest in pet care, veterinary medicine, pet psychology and pet/people training techniques and philosophies.  Having attended many seminars by leading dog trainers and pet psychologist; as well as, animal interpreters, and various members of the Tucson Pet Care Network, TPCN, including a Hospice Mobile Vet and and an ordained pet minister (informaton for both on contact page) Tricia brings a lot of knowledge and experience to her daily job.  Helpful information that she is eager to share with you as pet owners, either one on one or through email messages.

Tricia Law has been with  AMORÉ  since 2014.  Her calm disposition and heart-warming personality wins over pets and clients alike.  Tricia has been a most valuable asset and brings with her five plus years of experience with caring for dogs, cats, birds, reptiles and chickens.  She has been known to go the extra mile for a pet in need.  Excellent at administrating medications, including insulin injections.  Tricia currently is dog mom to three adorable rescue canines: Kira,  Panchito and Chico.   Although no cats at home presently, she has been a cat mom over the years.    Tricia also attended the first aid and safety class, receiving her certification through the Humane Society of Southern Arizona.
